Now that the winter is over, I want to thank you for installing the SteamLoc Technology in Dwight Morrow High school. I know I gave you a large task to find all the float style steam traps in a 1931 School. When I passed the High School in the morning coming to work, I knew the boilers were on when I saw the plume of steam coming from condensate tank vents on the roof. After you completed your job that plume was gone. Your mechanics’ were very dedicated in finding every trap and it paid off. Before you arrived, I had two 350-horse power boilers running at high fire maintaining 8 lbs. of steam around the clock.

With the SteamLoc traps installed I went to one boiler modulating at 4 lbs. and boiler two only coming on those frigid cold days and at morning warm up. I estimate about $70,000 in gas and make up water savings this past winter along with lower maintenance costs. I will be calling on you soon to install SteamLoc traps in my other buildings.  With shrinking budgets, we need to find every way to save.
